They say it's a right and obligation, a duty everyone is expected to do when called upon: those dreaded two words, jury duty.
Some individuals, like me, always seem to get it. If you have ever had to attend then you know how bad our system is.
How about we consider an interesting proposal that entails giving the unemployed, homeless, or welfare recipients the opportunity at full-time employment instead of disrupting the workplace or people at home with families to serve.
This could be an incredible opportunity to increase the work force out there. So come on, government, instead of being the problem, solve the problem. With the thousands losing their jobs every day this would be an untapped resource for creating new jobs. And you would have a force who actually wants to be there.
